A former high-rise council block in south Manchester, Southmoor 23 lay empty for four years before being transformed into 72 fashionable apartments with a £2m refurbishment.
At the time, the development was the first of its kind in the area and provides 64 one bedroom apartments together with eight studio apartments.
The apartments were originally intended for rental and LPC Living was inundated with enquiries following the launch with thirty people signing up for the new apartments. Subsequently, it was fully let and occupied within two weeks.
Tenants had the option to purchase their properties after two years and due to the success of the development, all apartments were then sold.
